Register for the 2016 Study Mission and Excursion to India

Registration is now open for a unique opportunity to earn continuing education credits while visiting local intensive care units in northern India during the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (SCCM) Study Mission to India, which will be held March 8-18, 2016. Participants will meet with their colleagues in a number of local hospitals and clinics in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and will also visit various historical sites in these cities. These historical sites include the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and the Gandhi memorial at Raj Ghat in Delhi; the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort in Agra; and the Amber Fort, Palace of Winds and the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur.

The opportunity to explore the culture and scenery of central India is also available, during SCCM’s Excursion to India, which will be held March 17-23, 2016, immediately following the Study Mission. Participants will visit the Khajuraho stone temples, participate in tiger safaris in the Bandhavgarh National Park and visit the Hanging Gardens and Kamala Nehru Park in Mumbai.

Please note that the Study Mission to India and the Excursion to India are two separate events. You must register for each event that you wish to attend. Study Mission attendance is not required to register for the Excursion to India.

Save the Date for SCCM Study Mission to India

The 2016 Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) Study Mission to India is scheduled for March 7-16, 2016. Participants will meet with their colleagues in a number of local hospitals and clinics in northern India and will also visit various historical sites in Delhi (the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and the Gandhi memorial at Raj Ghat), Agra (the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort), and Jaipur (the Amber Fort, Palace of Winds and the Jantar Mantar).

You can also extend your experience with a trip to central India from March 16-22, 2016. This experience will feature visits to various temples in Khajuraho, a two-day tiger safari in the Bandhavgarh National Park and a two-day excursion to Mumbai.
