Attend the Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support (PFCCS) course at the Baylor College of Medicine’s Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Simulation Center.
PFCCS addresses fundamental management principles for the first 24 hours of post-resuscitation management of the critically ill pediatric patient until transfer or appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged.
The course utilizes didactic sessions along with skill stations and scenario-driven discussions to better prepare healthcare professionals for the management of the critically ill pediatric patient.
Notable faculty include Utpal S. Bhalala, MD, FAAP, FCCM; Elumalai Appachi, MD, MRCP; Karl L. Serrao, MD, FAAP, FCCM; Matthew A. Borgman, MD; and Michele C. Papo, MD, FCCM.
Individuals who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
This course will be held February 22 and 23, 2018, before the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (SCCM) Critical Care Congress.
